Prime General Contractors was pleased to again participate in the most recent Hearts & Hammers project via involvement of our staff member Lane Baumgartner. Lane is also active in the the NAWIC (National Association of Women in Construction) - Minneapolis/St. Paul Chapter. The local NAWIC Chapter provided the volunteers and sponsorship for this project.
We are pleased to announce Lane has accepted an appointment to a Board level position with our local NAWIC Chapter. We appreciate her dedication and leadership in our community representing the best our team has to offer!
On Friday, August 14th, nearly 20 members of the Minneapolis/St. Paul Chapter of the
National Women In Construction Association (NAWIC) arrived in force to provide repairs for a homeowner in need.
The goal was an exterior transformation and revitalization of a home belonging to a person in need. Activities included priming, painting, caulking, and landscaping.
“Without Hearts & Hammers I could not have gotten this much needed home facelift completed. What a blessing Hearts & Hammers and the NAWIC was!”
The project was a success! Thanks to Lane Baumgartner of Prime General Contractors for her leadership and participation in this project - bettering our community one volunteer project at a time!
NAWIC partnered with Hearts & Hammers, a non-profit organization serving the Twin Cities, MN and Dallas, TX areas. The mission of Hearts & Hammers is to keep low-income people in the homes they love by providing volunteer exterior repair services.
